Click on the cog wheel icon, there are three options, Gnome + Remmina
Kiosk, Ubuntu and Ubuntu on Wayland. And Ubuntu is selected by default.
Next after login, there is nothing on the screen, as in blank / black.
Except the mouse pointer.

Sorry i wasn't clear about that. I am able to login with gdm3 with user
frans as expected. But next i am getting a Desktop without any Gnome
controls. I still can move the mouse over two screens. But even clicking
on the mouse buttons, doesn't show up any menu, to open up a terminal
for example.

Also please ensure both your monitors are turned on because the login
screen will only appear on one of them.

Thanks. Curiously that most recent log isn't showing any failure that I
can find. It looks like Gnome is working (unlike the log messages at the
top of this bug)...

Okay, tell me. How do i fire up a graphical terminal on a Desktop
