The problem did disappear after a few weeks.
Now it doesn't occur on one computer simply because GoogleMail will only
appear in a truly miniature font (I use igoogle and everything else is
fine). This is FF3beta and Hardy.
I don 't have Gutsy sadly because I took their advice and upgraded and
I do not see this problem on Hardy (Firefox 3.0b5). Is this still a
problem for you? Can you try FF3 on Gutsy to see if it has the same
issue?

I can confirm the iGoogle link not opening correctly. Could this be on
Google's end, or was this specifically after a Firefox update?
