Yes, I have compositing enabled; I'm currently using the 169.07 Nvidia
driver, installed with Envy, on an Nvidia GeForce Go 7900 GS video card.
I do have desktop effects enabled, but transparency is disabled.
This only seems to occur with Firefox; nothing of the sort happens when
surfing the net
Is composting enabled? Which video driver do you use?

I've attached a picture to show what I'm talking about; the red boxes
are around the Application Launcher and Desktop Pager. You'll notice
the pager has completely disappeared, revealing the desktop background.
The entire taskbar randomly does this, in various locations.
