The client_3.conf should work, put this file to /etc/pulse/client.conf
reboot
check if there is /tmp/a.txt
if there isn't, please run 'ps -aux | grep pulseaudio" to check if
pulseaudio is running.

Adding this line to the conf file does not generate the a.txt file on
startup. I tried adding the line, altering the line with the extra
arguments tags and adding to the extra arguments variable

errors when initializing this sound card according to ucm, to do so:
edit /etc/pulse/client.conf
add a line: extra-arguments = - --log-target=file:/tmp/a.txt
reboot and upload the a.txt to lp.

audio. you need to add ucm conf files specific to this machine:
