BMC WEB UI - settings/date and time settings; select `Manually set date and
time` and then change the `time owner` to SPLIT.

Ok. I was able to reproduce the error and then I've followed the instructions
from comment #2
Step 1 (### With busctl on BMC), but I've got this output:
`An enumeration mapping was attempted for which no valid enumeration value
exists.` which I think it didn't work.

Thanks to Dimitri for pointing out that the comment #2 is not designed
to actually SET the HW Clock from the host, but to ALLOW the HW Clock to
be set with /sbin/hwclock. I had completely missed this.
Next step is to try the sequence described in comment #2 (on the BMC and
also on the host), and t

I believe /sbin/hwclock is the default tool for manually setting the
hwclock in Linux. I’m nervous that higher level workloads may depend on
the correct functioning of the /sbin/hwclock tool for their successful
operation.
The /sbin/hwclock tool is shipped with the util-linux package.
Adding util
