Do you have the snap or the deb?
Could you start it from a command line and copy the output when getting
the error (and/or attach the journalctl log from the session)

The description is also not clear, by "It would load, but a window would
appear briefly and close." do you mean that there is a flicker but you
get a working libreoffice still, or is the one closing the main one
letting you without an instance to work on?
