Why don't you just fix all "echo"s instead of just some per upload? :-)
The only echo which should be there is the "Usage: " help, but the ones
in do_stop() and do_start() should disappear.

Init script still uses echo a lot for status messages. It should use
log_end_msg and log_progress_msg.
(Only a bug, promotion can happen after FF once this is fixed).
