It's passing the portal ID (so many IDs in slightly different
formats...) to gnome-software which is why it's failing. Needs to be
converted inside gnome-control-center.

The shell case is probably passing the application name as an ApoStream
ID or something similar. It should probably be passing a snap:// URL.
That should probably be tracked in another bug.

I've marked this as affecting gnome-shell as well since we're seeing the
same thing when selecting "Show details" from the menu in the panel.
