This is NOT the airo.
However, I have figured out that reinstalling the entire
dbus/networkmanager/knetworkmanager stack fixed the issue even in gutsy.
I have no problems in hardy, either.

i assume that this is fixed in hardy now. We have driver improvements and
improvements on network-manager side that should improve the general stability
of your network connection. if you still see this, please attach your complete
/var/log/syslog - taken after you reproduced your issue - to
Confirmed by tjansson. Not sure how common this is, but it seem quite
severe for the people affected.

Whenever my system wakes up (I usually just hibernate instead of shut down my
machine), I have to re-connect to the network I was previously in.
KNetworkManager then establishes the connection, and everything works fine for
a couple of seconds/minutes. After that period, KNetwor

I experience the exact same problem on my Thinkpad X30 running a 3 days
old fully updated Kubuntu 7.10 installation with airo wireless. I have
attached the my syslog and daemon log. In both of these logfiles I find
lines like:
