Found madman2k links to be invalid, however all required packages are
available (for Hardy) via standard Ubuntu apt backports entries (just
remove comments and apt-get install them, etc).

Fprint is avaiable in Ubuntu Intrepid, for hardy feel free to use this

This seems the onle package/program/library that give support for AES1610 which
is available in some Lenovo and Toshiba Portégé.
