Are you using the xfwm compositor? Does the size of the font matter? Is
the monospace font blurred also? Can you turn on ¨Enable anti-aliasing
for the terminal font¨ in Edit -> Preferences -> Appearance and see if
it helps.

Hi I still have this problem in 8.04.
It looks even worse than the screenshot the reporter showed.
I'm on Xubuntu with prop. Nvidia-drivers. But the problem was also there with
free drivers.
It doesn't really matter which font I choose.
I do not know what the terminal-app is using for font-render
Is this bug still present in xubuntu 8.04?

Sorry Kirtan, I'm not sure I exactly understood your last message. You
have no problems with the default monospace font, but if you choose
another one the overlapping problem starts ? Could you please give us
the name of the font(s) that create this problem so we can try to
reproduce this ? Thank y
fonts shown correctly in monosapce font(That is by default) but it shows
font very blure if i change it to any other font the overlapping problem
begins
