Same problem on Ubuntu 18.04. Xscreen ignores Caffeine

To manag
just tested & have this issue in 19.04 (LXQt desktop & vlc)
in `vlc` i had 'disable screensaver' ticked, but xscreensaver still hid vlc
(both when vlc was playing in a window, or was fullscreen)
due to [a requested] test earlier today i was using an old version of
xscreensaver when I first tried,
tested both on Xorg & Wayland, bug persists

I have a same experience with ESPN from Firefox playing the video (in
full screen) of Miami-LSU football game. Screensaver came on once too
many times. It shouldn't be happening as it's 18.04 version! It felt
like some developer took out the "fix" code out.
