I ran into this as well on a Dell Precision 5520. I tried all the fixes
listed at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshootingProcedure and
nothing worked. Only reverting to the 4.4.0-130-generic kernel partially
fixed the problem, but sound still breaks when I suspend/resume.
