Hi Rolf,
Nomination declined; but please note that for the most part we don't use
the nominations workflow in Ubuntu because the signal-to-noise ratio is
much too low, so there's generally no need to worry about closing out
such nominations.

I installed the alpha 2 of Ubuntu hardy today with the alternate CD.
Installation worked fine as always.
So I booted it up and in GDM I was not able to type in anything. Also
shortcuts and cursor keys didn't work. Not even Ctrl+Alt+F1...F8,
