I get a kernel panic as well with ubuntu hardy kernel 2.6.24-21 and I
found out it's during it's unloading the module rtl8187 (the wifi
driver).
If I'm using another driver like r8187 it does to sleep perfectly, the
problem is the driver it's not working so well as rtl8187.
