and was supposed to be in gutsy. Launchpad claims t
It all built in Hardy. A lot of packages don't build on all
architectures, generally due to a bug in the package. Before a couple of
months back we didn't have a method to easily track which packages
FTBFSed, but we do now. Things will hopefully be better for Hardy.

Also, I don't see how it is a GPL violation. Nobody says you have to
distribute binaries if you distribute source, and the old source is
still available.
