I get this behaviour as well when connecting into a machine to manage it.
Is occuring whether I use nxclient or ssh -Y
Whether I use sudo first or not.
Same error.
$ dpkg -l gnome-system-tools liboobs-1-4 system-tools-backends policykit
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
| Status=Not/Instal
And I am in polkituser - someone suggested that.
This is kind of frustrating 'cause it makes managing this machine impossible.
Perhaps VNC would work if I could use it, which I can't.
