(which I had forgotten about) was causing the problem.

It looks to me like you have NetworkManager 1.10.4, so what release are
you actually on? Some OS info and lists of relevant packages and
versions would be helpful.
Anyway, the relevant error looks like
/usr/sbin/openconnect: /usr/local/lib/libopenconnect.so.5: version
`OPENCONNECT_5_4' not found
I should mention that I am running a fully updated version of vivid
