Thanks for your reply. This may be a X issue. Please show us your
/var/log/Xorg.0.log, /etc/X11/xorg.conf (if you have one with hardy),
~/.xsession-errors, and the output of lspci -vvnn as attachments.

That's the problem, It just freezes up unexpectedly. Sometimes it takes
30seconds, sometimes it's after 10 minutes. I cannot do a gui reset with
ctrl-alt-delete... and soft shutting down with (alt-Printscreen)+R+S+E+I+U+B
does not work.
Seems like it freezes whenever i highlight something, or l
