Hi. Screencasting and screenshotting is quite different in Wayland
logins compared to X11 of the past.
If you would like those features to work for now then please try logging
in to "Ubuntu on Xorg".

Thanks for your report. This is intended and a security feature of
wayland. Meanwhile you can select 'Ubuntu on Xorg' in the logging screen
to start xorg instead and screen capture applications should work.
