It's an acknowledged feature request, albeit overdue, so remember that
saying "fix it" there probably won't accomplish anything either. There
are probably technical issues blocking its implementation, or simply
nobody has been interested in

Thanks. But that post is 2001-11-12 12:08 UTC, its like 6 years old.
That post is half a decade old and they still haven't fixed it?
Someone needs to fix it, in Windows there have been that functionality
forever, probably Mac too.
