There is an option to print a selection in Firefox 3 (tested with
firefox-3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1).
In the GTK+ printing dialog (File -> Print), choose the Options tab. You
should see a check box for "Print Selection Only." It will be grayed out
unless a something has been selected in the te

I can confirm this problem too. I tried it with Firefox 3.0 and gedit
under ubuntu 8.04.

In gusty, this seems to only be a problem with epiphany, but it seems to
be a problem with many applications in hardy.
