This is no longer a problem with the new default window/tag structure in
Intrepid. Although it doesn't show by default (Bug #286490), the problem
would not exist if a user expanded the sidebar.

I was about to open this exact bug. I'm getting a very small window
after first launching f-spot on a fresh intrepid install. The version is
0.4.4.

I couldn't reproduce it with 0.4.1-1. I tried temporarily deleting
F-Spot settings, and then it started maximized.
Does this bug still occur with that version?
