I don't think this is a problem in Adept 3.0 alpha 5 which is set to be
included in Kubuntu Intrepid. Even in it's alpha state Adept's way more
stable and responsive.

adept crashed after searching for xinerama

I don't run it all the time but adept does crash frequently.
Nonetheless, whenever I try to search for xinerama it crashes miserably.
I've just gave it a try but this time there was no backtrace. This
message was displayed:

I've ran apt-get update and upgrade through the command line and an
update of the findutils package was installed. After that, I re-launched
adept, ran a search for xinerama and thankfully it didn't crashed this
time.
Could this series of crashes have been caused by the previous, un-
updated xiner
