I'd switch from Kubuntu back to Ubuntu and get the same. Restricted-manager
does not work if Regional settings is Russian. LANG=C sudo restricted-manager
works.
I think it's wrong. End user do not want to experiment with such command lines,
he(she) just want to manage restricted drivers. Develo
I think it's error because of language envirinment or something like that.

I have the same issue on my sony fz11sr laptop.
Restricted manager works well if system language is US.
If I switch language to Russian in Regional settings, Restricted manager
crashes and last error message is the same: "unsupported format character...".
