I can confirm this issue on 17.10. It worked fine in 16.10 from which I upgraded. Model name: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20GHz Stepping:7 CPU MHz: 3200.149 CPU max MHz: 4000. CPU min MHz: 1200. Meanwhile, the "i7z" utility correctly
