I can't reproduce it on today's bionic version, with dashtodock 63-1. I
confirm it's dash to dock and not ubuntu dock running as I have access

If we install "dashtodock" from "gnome software" (with the source:
extension.gnome.org), it works without problem.
The bug is present only if you install dashtodock in command line with
the package in the repositories : sudo apt install gnome-shell-
extension-dashtodock
In the video capture i install dashtodock then i go to gnome-tweak-tool,
i press the button to go into the settings and nothing happens.
Then I try to activate the button to activate the extension (although
