I can confirm that an upgrade to Firefox 56.0b7 fixed the problem both
for Artful and Xenial.

On Firefox 56 (firefox-next ppa) this bug exists even in Artful. The
previous comment where I said it was working was wrong as I was using
Firefox 54 then. Now that I upgraded to Firefox Next using the PPA, I'm
hitting this bug again.
