Due to the version number, I would assume 12.16.1860-1linuxmint is
packaged directly in Linux Mint. You can double-check this with `apt
policy opera` which will list available versions and which repo they
come from. I'm not familiar enough with Mint to know how to best contact
package maintainers t

Obviously not. 12.16.1860-1linuxmint was what Synaptic offered to me,
and I did not install any additional repository.
