Additionally, your file /etc/apt/sources.list is already configured for the release you wanted to upgrade to (utopic) so in addition to Steve's comment you'll also want to change /etc/apt/sources.list back to trusty. ** Changed in: ubuntu-release-upgrader (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete

Please note that (I think) the upgrade is failing because it's attempting to upgrade to Ubuntu 14.10 (utopic) which is a no longer supported release. This is due to the configuration file for update- manager being set to: Prompt=normal Adjust this to Prompt=lts to get update-manager to upgr
