Public bug reported: I installed gajim from Ubuntus repository on elementary OS 0.4 Loki (based on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS).
Shortly after starting the screen freezes and keyboard/touchpad don't respond anymore. Strange thing is that when i press the power button short, the screen updates for some seconds but freezes then again. Keyboard and Touchpad (also USB-Mouse) do still nothing. Computer is an Apple Macbook Pro (Retina). I attached a 'strace -f gajim' until the system freezes.
