Trusty is now in Extended Security Maintenance [1], and this bug doesn't
qualify for it, so it won't be fixed in that release.
I verified that this specific issue doesn't happen in >= Xenial, so I
think it's safe not to add new tasks to this bug, however the more
general issue brought up in LP: #1
