better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in

I have a similar problem installilng gutsy on an older 32bit amdk6-2+
bus mouse. I could not move the cursor over the install icon to click
install on the first start up screen. My solution was to use my old
edgy disk and it's fine with edgy. I pulled over 32bit gutsy Jan 15
2008 or so. Ian.

This problem appears about 25% of the time.
1. mobo is ASUS A8N-SLI Premium
2. Running 64-bit gutsy
3. Regular PS2 mouse
Roughly 25% of the time when I boot, at the log-in screen the mouse is
unresponsive. The only fix seems to be to reboot and to hope tha
