I got this error message while following the instructions stated online
on the Boinc website.
When using the Debian/Ubuntu package, the processus is different : boinc should
be started like another daemon :
sudo /e
Unless Brian states he still has the problem, the bug should be closed

I got it running with the --no_gui_rpc option, which probably prevent to
connect a gui client to it :-( But at least, it's helping some projects.
I also run into another problem just after : some certificates are missing.
