Mike : I think plugins are not enabled by default to reduce the memory
usage, you can choose the plugins you load, and only the ones you need

This resolved my issue with the floor() function, but I can't say that
this is a solution. It seems a little silly that when you install
Gnumeric you don't get the complete package, and even when you find the
parts you need, you must then enable them to get the desired
functionality. Would it be
You can get the plugins by installing gnumeric-plugins-extra

All of the functions except a very few (sum, min, max, average, count)
are contained in plugins. Please make sure that those plugins are in
fact loaded. Check the tools->plug-ins menu item.
