Thanks for reporting.
I found a corresponding bug report in Debian, so I have attached a bug
watch. In the meantime python-dbus can be installed manually as a
workaround.
Based on the duplicate report, this is at least affecting Ubuntu 17.10,
but based on the report date for this one, it seems to
I have the same output in terminal. When opening in Gui Gespeaker
attempts to open, and flashes for a few second on the task bar, and then
closes.
