As HPLIP has its own CUPS-DDK-based PPD generator already for some time,
I have checked also the PPD generated by the current HPLIP and it does
not have this bug.

o Added new "./configure" option to suppress generating Foomatic data

The problem is fixed upstream now, so above-mentioned link gives now the
possibility to download a corrected PPD file. The problem occured also
for some other printers. Now all PPDs on OpenPrinting should be correct.

Attached my hand-modified file
"cupstestppd HP-DeskJet_1280-hpijs.ppd" reports PASS.
I load the hpijs PPD because this seems to fix the problem with wrong margins
that the default Ubuntu drivers have.
Also, the GIMP printer setup doesn't offer an option for Deskjet 1280, so use
the PPD file th
For me it looks that HP has provided broken Foomatic data. Assigning bug
to HP's upstream developers.

There is no need to install static ppds from hpijs-ppd since CUPS in
Ubuntu is set up to generate the PPDs on the fly from foomatic-db-hpijs.
