I verified this by enabling trusty-proposed in my /etc/apt/sources.list file before attempting the upgrade. I then ran sudo do-release-upgrade and the upgrade to 16.04 was successfully calculated, for good measure I also ran the upgrade and it also succeeded. ** Tags removed: verification-needed
