The problem might only occur with some devices, and maybe only with
HDMI. I don't know, your mileage may vary.
But I do know for sure that if any of the image is chopped off then
that's a (very common) flaw in the TV's default settings and not a Mir
bug. As far as I know most TVs will do that, and
But if I connect my PC with Ubuntu 16.04, it work nice.

Zoom is not correct when
TVs are usually set up to chop off the edges of the image they get by
default(!). I've found this is almost always true with mine.
You need to go into your TV/monitor settings and tell it to display
images at full size, and not crop the edges.
