The problem seems to be related to an out-of sync Qt3 update, since my KDE4 console, built from sources work correctly. Instead, if I run a kde program from a terminal, I get this kind of output: /usr/lib/qt3/plugins/inputmethods/libqsimple.so: undefined symbol: _ZN13QInputContext14x11FilterEven
