I had this bug in Gutsy but now it works in Hardy. Please check it and
reopen this bug if you're still having this issue.

I had this error earlier. I found a fix for it in one bug comment
though. Now, after reinstall of OS, I have this problem again and cant
seem to find the fix.
Cant fix it with your solution either, cant find the package gnome-obex
in apt.

I later installed gnome-bluetooth and gnome-obex and when i started "Bluetooth
File Sharing" it began to work like expected.
The default behavious still wasn't very satisfying though.
