This tool, as useful as it is, doesn't change anything to the fact that samba sharing in a new Kubuntu install doesn't work out of the box with the provided KDE tools. hence I think the bug is still valid, and Samba sharing has to be fixed, which is planned hopefully fot Kubuntu 10.04 (see the
