...I'm assuming that you're referring to "libapache2-mod-
xmlrpc2"...where do I get the 1.06.30 version from?

I found that completely uninstall xmlrpc from the package manager (which
is 1.06.21-1) and manually installing 1.06.30 from the site maintainer
corrected the issue. Hope it helps.

Debian and Ubuntu in the intrepid release cycle, since it's unmaintained

I just ran across this problem too.
Ubuntu 8.04
I had previously been using mod xmlrpc. Tonight I installed the twiki
package along with it's requirements. The installation failed with the
same message as in the previous message "... Cannot load
/usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_xmlrpc.so into server:

confirmed, I can reproduce this error on a clean install of hardy-
server. Quite annoying, because it prevents me from using the weg-
interface of btg, a bittorrent client.
