I've a Lenovo Flex 3, and the mic does not work with a fresh install of
Ubuntu 17.10. I had to instal PulseAudioVolumeControl and move the 'From
Left' setting all the way left, and keep the 'From Right' setting higher
in order for it to work.
But then Chrome autoadjusts the internal mic volume whe

@Mihaly, Do you by chance have pci=nomsi set as a boot option? I have
this issue on my ASUS X555UB and the only way it will boot is with that
option. I don't know if it is related but just in case... Thanks.
