As a workaround for this bug, one can configure knetworkmanager to save the wireless key in kwallet, and than set a blank password for kwallet. Both knetworkmanager and kwallet will open 'silently' upon boot and the connection will activate. Obviously this isn't an ideal solution! If anyone readi
