I'm also affected by this problem.
I try to install xenial (server and netboot iso) on an Intel Nuc (keyboard used
is a logitech K400 wireless) and the keyboard stops working after the grub
screen. Choosing the language is not po

so turns out that input-modules is missing hid-lenovo, as copying and
loading that driver manually makes my (usb thinkpad) keyboard work.

So I assume both 15.10 and 16.04 server installer does _not_ work. Does
the 16.04 desktop installer work there? And if so, can you attach from
that working Xenial at least dmesg, lsusb, lsmod?
