same problem here, using an encore 802.11 b wifi card (do not remember the
exact model). Ubuntu 7.10 downloaded today (nov. 12, 2007) and Ubuntu AMD 64
7.10 . It used to work with Ubuntu 7.04 + ndiswrapper, but after installing

the access point, not an error per se, did you try to reproduce the issue using
the information in the link i previously post you? (sysrq). i've done some
research, and indeed this seems to be a kernel relate
