I installed Debian Lenny/Sid few days ago with latest Nvidia driver
100.14.19. And all video players work fine: xine, totem, mplayer.

I found that small distortions, such as soft diagonal line, exist in all
video players which I use to view video. I tried different drivers from
Nvidia site, but it didn't resolve this problem. So I think it may be a
problem with xorg + nvidia binary driver in my cas
I think that this is actually a xine-lib bug (gxine's zoom functions
basically just call xine-lib functions); reassigning accordingly.
I'd reassign this directly to the evil binary-only taintware but for the
fact that gstreamer is reported not to have a problem :-|
