I tested this on a Nexus 4 running RC proposed and on a nexus 7 running
the Pocket Desktop image.
This happens in any app and even on the desktop with no apps open.
i'm using a thinkpad bluetooth mouse. not sure if the mouse itself has
anything to do with it but I will try another mouse to see.

I'm developing a Computer Aided Design app and a common method to move
entities in the scene is to pan. I.e. Translate the entities across the
screen.
The industry standard for this is gesture in a 2d view is to hold the
mouse wheel and drag the mouse.
While testing my app on de
/var/crash/ should hold a unity8.crash file.
Can you describe a bit more what do you mean by "making a pan gesture"?
Why would you hold the mouse wheel down for that?
