This is not going to happen. The release model of ubuntu doesn't really
allow updating applications like this. FYI the current development
release, 16.04 xenial, already has scribus 1.4.6.

Hey, Scribus 1.4.6 has some very important improvements and there is no simple
way installing it on e.g. Ubuntu Trusty.
Please update this package so we can use 1.4.6 while still using the LTS
release of Ubuntu.
There should be no dependency problems with this release as 1.4
